Scope of this midterm portion
This site covers exactly the portion in your midterm scope: Units 1 and 2 in full, and Unit 3 up to Economic Stabilization — Monetary Policy and Fiscal Policy.
The full course syllabus continues Unit 3 into Inflation and the Phillips Curve, and adds Unit 4 (Central Bank and Money) and Unit 5 (Government and the Private Business) — these fall after your midterm cut-off and are therefore not covered. See the References page for the full comparison.
What the assessment actually looks like
From your course policy Policy p. 10:
- Class Test-1 — conducted in the 10th week, 20 marks, 30–45 minutes. This is the test the material on this site is scoped to.
- Project — a group activity: an allotted macroeconomics topic presented with industry cases (10 marks presentation + 10 marks report), plus a 5-mark viva.
- Term End Examination — 2 hours, 7 questions of 20 marks each; Q1 compulsory and any 4 of the remaining, then scaled to 50.
A 30–45 minute test for 20 marks means few questions, answered fully — which is why each concept here has one complete exam answer you can compress rather than several length-graded versions.
